And just a little further is bustling Lagos which has it all, including the golden Meia Praia beach, carved in to the wave worn cliffs. Once you set eyes on this magical spot, you won’t want to move very far. You’ll be given the warmest of welcomes by the owners in their comfortable, whitewashed guest house, bursting with character. Traditional in style, you’ll find antique furniture and richly-coloured rugs at every turn. On the flip side though, there are plenty of contemporary features such as squishy sofas and a small games room vying for your attention. When you want a blast of sunshine, step out of your spacious, ensuite room (all of which are individually decorated and have satellite television, air-conditioning and a kitchenette) into the extensive grounds. to recline back on one of the cushioned sun loungers by the pool and soak up the peace and quiet.
