Holiday swimming pools usually come as standard in all inclusive aparthotels and hotels on the Algarve (graded 3 stars and above). It's worth checking though if you definitely want a swimming pool complex on-site. Swimming pools included in Algarve hotels, all inclusive apartments and aparthotels are often more like swimming pool complexes or villages, with adjacent snack bars, plenty of sunbathing territory and good facilities for kids including sometimes swimming lessons and supervised kids swimming sessions.

For a good choice of quality all inclusive family holitday hotels and apartment complexes with swimming pools look to top family holiday resorts on the Algarve including Albufeira, Vilamoura, Quarteira, Monte Gordo and Lagos. All inclusive Algarve hotels will often have more than one swimming pool. If you're a family with young chidlren look for Algarve holiday complexes with separate shallow water kids pools, sometimes with water slides and plenty of swimming pool toys and floats available. Some all inclusive hotels will have a third separate children's swimming pool.
