Lisbon Suburb Accommodation - Advantages

Opt for a Lisbon superb location like Iria da Azoia if perhaps you are hiring a car and wanting to move around the Libon area, pushing west towards Sintra, Estoril and Cascais or indeed south to Setubal.

It's a much more sensible option with car hire as driving around Lisbon, and getting in and out of Lisbon (especially in peak rush hour periods early morning and evening) is a nightmare. Position yourself in one of the Lisbon suburbs such as Santa Iria da Azoia and you've easy access to national motorway links both for business and holiday pleasure.

This makes it easier to push even further out by road, say inland to historic Evora which is easy via the main motorways.

For convenience to avoid major traffic nightmares around Lisbon centre, or indeed for a quieter base yet still with easy access by bus or mainline rail into Lisbon city centre, it pays to choose one of the Lisbon superbs as a base.
